Dan has extensive experience in all areas relating to the preparation, prosecution, and evaluation of patents. His practice has included wide reaching innovation and developments in numerous medical, chemical, and mechanical arts. He has also prepared numerous opinions with respect to validity, and infringement issues, and has provided legal counsel respecting other areas of IP law, including patent applications, and appeals, and trademark application prosecution and appeals.
Dan was awarded a B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering from Fenn College where he graduated second in his Chemical Engineering class, and he was awarded his J.D. from Case Western Reserve University. Dan is admitted to practice before the United States Patent Office, the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, and the Supreme Court of Ohio. He is a past president of the Cleveland Patent Law Association and has chaired several Intellectual Property law seminars. |
