Our firm represents and advises both U.S. and international clients located around the globe at the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), U.S. Copyright Office (USCO), various U.S. courts, and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). During our many years of practice, we have developed long-standing relationships with an extensive network of associate law firms that allow us to support clients in many different countries.
Being a boutique firm, our practice is nimble and we are easily able to serve clients of various sizes, ranging from Fortune 500 companies to individual inventors and start-ups.
Hudak, Shunk & Farine Co. LPA was founded in Akron, Ohio 1987 by Daniel Hudak, Sr. who began the firm after having served as a principal in another law firm. After receiving their early law training in Cleveland area law firms, Laura Shunk and Cheryl Farine joined the firm in 1988 and 2000 respectively. Dan Hudak Jr. came to the firm as a law clerk in 1997 and became the firm’s fourth principal in 2008. Hudak Shunk & Farine has also had the privilege of having senior IP lawyers of Fortune 500 companies serve in “Of Counsel” status. Our attorneys each possess qualifications that extend beyond an understanding of the law and bring a wealth of practice experience along with their education and practical experience in industry. Our administrative staff is similarly committed to providing excellent and personal service to our clients. |
