Hudak, Shunk & Farine Co. LPA was founded in Akron, Ohio 1987 by Daniel Hudak, Sr. who began the firm after having served as a principal in another area law firm.  After receiving their early law training in Cleveland area law firms, Laura Shunk and Cheryl Farine joined the firm in 1988 and 2000 respectively.  Dan Hudak Jr. came to the firm as a law clerk in 1997 and became the firm’s fourth principal in 2008.  Hudak Shunk & Farine has also had the privilege of having senior IP lawyers serve in “Of Counsel” status. Our attorneys each possess qualifications that extend beyond an understanding of the law and bring a wealth of practice experience along with their education and practical experience in industry.  Our administrative staff is similarly committed to providing excellent and personal service to our clients.
